InstaAlert.me is a hosted service that allows subscribers to send a variety of notification messages.

InstaAlert.me’s easy to use portal allows subscribers to create their messages online, upload them onto our server and then send those messages with the press of a button to thousands of recipients quickly. A subscriber can send a Voice Blast, SMS Blast, Email Blast either individually or in any combination as desired.

After you sign-up for the service you will need to login to the Notification Server. After logging in, you will be able to create your message in English text. Our software will convert your message from Text to Speech. The resulting message will be deposited in your personal account as a voice message. Next you can create one or more groups in your account (e.g., Family, Co-workers etc.). Next, you can associate one or more groups with your voice message. After the message and the groups are set up, you can launch the message to the group instantaneously or schedule it to be delivered at a later time. After the message is sent out you will be able to see the logs associated with your Insta Alert session. The logs will show details of what transpired during the Insta Alert session (message received - yes or no, recipient heard the message - entire or partial etc.).

As part of the initial setup, the subscribers are guided to add the InstaAlert.me’s number as a Contact on their cell phone. For example, the contact could be, ‘Myra’s Insta Alert’. The subscriber should also send this number ahead of time to members of his/her group. If the contacts are set up on recipient’s phones, then the incoming call will display ‘Myra’s Insta Alert’ suggesting that the incoming call is from Myra and she is sending an alert message. In addition, the recipients can further associate a different ringing tone on their mobile phone to distinguish InstaAlert.me calls versus other phone calls.

InstaAlert.me service also supports SMS blast. If you suspect that your recipients will be in poor cell coverage area, you can launch voice blast and SMS blast simultaneously. Since you are able to send the message as a voice blast and a SMS blast the probability of your recipients receiving the message becomes much higher.
